Turkish Police Intercepts Passenger Smuggling Cigarettes and E-Cigarettes
Turkish police intercepted a bus and found smuggled cigarettes and e-cigarettes in a passenger’s luggage, leading to legal action.
According to reports by the Turkish media outlet haberler, the Mus Police in Turkey have intercepted a bus and discovered smuggled cigarettes and e-cigarettes in a passenger’s suitcase. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the individual.
According to the statement from the provincial governor, personnel from the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Division and the Drug Crime Division of the Provincial Police Bureau intercepted a passenger bus at a checkpoint yesterday. During the search, 100 packs of cigarettes and 100 e-cigarettes were found in the luggage of a passenger.
The passenger was taken action against for “opposition to Law No. 5607”.
