Officials from the Consumer Protection Police Bureau have received a report from an anonymous source, which has revealed the smuggling of illicit cigarettes and alcoholic beverages through private transportation centers.
In this confiscation operation, a total of 7,340 illegal cigarette packs and 87 bottles of illicit alcoholic beverages were seized, with an estimated value of 7.2 million Thai baht. Investigators have seized the evidence for further legal proceedings and have promised to hold the individuals involved accountable for their criminal actions.
