Dr Colin Mendelsohn, founder of Australian Tobacco Harm Reduction Association, disagrees with the ban on e-cigarettes in Australia.
According to a report from Australian media outlet 3aw on January 2nd, Dr. Colin Mendelsohn, the founding chair of the Australian Association for the Reduction of Tobacco Harm and a retired general practitioner, disagrees with Australia’s ban on e-cigarettes and has provided his reasons for doing so.
Australia has recently imposed a ban on the importation of disposable e-cigarettes, allowing their legal sale and purchase exclusively through pharmacies with a prescription. Dr. Colin Mendelson asserts that these regulations are misguided, asserting that the prohibition will ultimately prove ineffective.
