According to a report from the Russian news outlet ura.news on December 27th, the Hamad Autonomous Consumer Rights Protection Bureau (Роспотребнадзор) has announced on its official website that the Nizhnevartovsk City Court has upheld its request to prohibit the sale of nicotine products near preschool education centers.
The Consumer Rights Protection Bureau of Hamad Autonomous Region has pointed out that two e-cigarette shops located at Lenin Street 17A and October 60th Anniversary Street 19A in Nizhnevartovsk City, are displaying and selling tobacco and nicotine products. According to information provided by the Nizhnevartovsk City Government, these e-cigarette retail stores are located less than 100 meters from pre-school educational institutions. As a result, the court has ruled that such sales activities are illegal and have met the requirements of the Consumer Rights Protection Bureau.
