Belfast City Council urges stricter regulations for e-cigarettes, proposing sales only behind counters and less appealing flavors.
According to a report from Irishnews on November 13th, Belfast City Council has responded to the nationwide consultation on smoking and e-cigarettes in the UK. They are calling for the sale of e-cigarettes to be limited to behind the counter and for the introduction of “less enticing” e-cigarette flavors.
The parliament has recommended implementing stricter age verification measures and disallowing individuals born on or after January 1, 2009 from purchasing e-cigarettes.
