China’s E-cigarette Exports to Canada Decline in October 2023
China’s General Administration of Customs released updated trade data, showing a decline in e-cigarette exports to Canada in October 2023.
Exports amounted to approximately 26.46 million US dollars, showing a decrease of 9.11% compared to the previous period, but a significant growth of 110.96% compared to the same period last year. The export volume decreased by 13.37% to approximately 467 tons on a month-on-month basis, but grew by 216.74% compared to the same period last year. The export unit price was $56.64 per kilogram, with a MoM increase of 4.91% and a YoY decrease of 33.40%. The average price of “e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers” was $4.80 per unit. Among them, ‘e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers’ accounted for 28.82% of the export category, while ‘nicotine-containing non-combustible products without tobacco or tobacco substitutes’ accounted for 71.18%.
