Contestants on the ITV reality show ‘I’m a Celebrity’ could be banned from using e-cigarettes due to tough nicotine rules in New South Wales, Australia.
According to the Mirror, producers must get doctor’s notes for contestants to bring e-cigarettes into the jungle under NSW regulations. The rules originated in 2019 when actor Cliff Parisi was caught vaping on the show, despite having a permit.
ITV said nicotine-addicted contestants can get help from staff. Nigel Farage, former UKIP leader, smokes up to 10 cigarettes daily and is negotiating with producers to keep smoking on the show.
