Philip Morris Egypt has adjusted prices across its cigarette and heated tobacco lineup following recent tax modifications by the government.
According to Vetogate, on November 15th Philip Morris announced price increases for products including its HEETS and TEREA heat-not-burn devices, along with brands such as Merit, Marlboro and L&M traditional cigarettes.
The company stated smokers and nicotine users can view updated pricing by scanning QR codes on packaging, reflecting Egypt’s latest tobacco tax adjustments.
CEO Ali Naftzat Kerman said Philip Morris remains committed to meeting Egyptian smoker and nicotine user demands while supporting a shift toward a smoke-free future.
