Transportation costs for e-cigarettes in the US and Europe have increased by up to 30% due to high demand for the upcoming holiday season.
On October 25th, 2FIRSTS learned from several freight forwarders specializing in e-cigarette logistics in the United States and Europe that transportation costs in these two markets have increased.
According to interviews conducted by 2FIRSTS with multiple logistics companies, it has been revealed that the price increase this time ranges from 3 to 10 RMB per kilogram, with the highest surge being nearly 30%.
Some logistics companies explain that the recent price hike is due to increased demand for goods from Europe and America since October, in preparation for upcoming important holidays like Christmas and New Year. As a result, there is a relative shortage of logistics resources, which has driven up prices.
